Ethnologist Carola Lentz becomes President of the Goethe-Institute . It is to replace the former President Klaus-Dieter Lehmann in November 2020. Lentz had been elected on Friday by the Presidium of the Goethe Institute in a special meeting, the Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.
